I just bought this specific so I only have several hours on it. The good. Outstanding piture. Dark blacks of course. But I really purchased this for the Animations. I had narrowed my own choices down to the actual samsung pn59D8000 and the Panasonic p55VT30. Your 3D on the samsung looked a little synthetic to me, that is like the cardboard cut out books that you open and the’ve one flat impression after another. The Panasonic nonetheless has a real wonderful graduation of 3D from front to back. I truly liked the new Samsung glasses, the wireless bluetooth connection, light weight, significant lenses, and even balance. I still dislike the feel of the Panasonic eyeglasses but they say they are comming by helping cover their better ones core summer. I don’t that way Panasonic is still using infared since anything in the way of the beam cuts the 3D. The feature that really wow’s me personally is the 2D to be able to 3D conversion. Oh My God! the Panasonic will be soooo much better than the actual Samsung in this respect. I might swear the 2D movies I’ve been watching with this feature are generally 3D. Should you be confused between Guided and Plasma, without doubt plasma is better, picture is just lot greater. I was lucky to view this TV and Samsung UN51D8000 side by side and also picture quality in this TV is so superior. Brand new high end LEDs look really good and obviously really thin and light. Smart features are same in both. However new plasmas are realistically thinner and light. In fact this TV is thinner than my previous 2 year old LCD TV. I bought this particular TV about a full week ago from Amazon online marketplace, sourced from Gadgets Expo. This is a very nice TV, couldnt be more content. I almost ordered Samsung LED yet thanks to visit to community BB store and thanks to store assistant bought this. I’m guilty that I just didn’t buy from BB but employed their store for comparison. BB was selling for pretty much $600 more than Amazon, no one is able they could price go with Amazon price

Smart Tv set: Nice. Since this technologies is still in its beginnings, its not perfect. Wi-fi connects to home circle in 10 seconds. Program is decent. Performance is little slow but works. Apps as you Tube are below average, I don’t like these, search feature on this App is worthless, needs more perform. Did not try Video on demand. Hulu is OK. Web browser, performs but useless, not sure why would you desire to use browser on TV. I tried some websites like PBSkids and Bravo and they also didnt work well. Widespread search is nice. DLNA is great, no issues. Might play view as well as photo from Personal computer without any issues. I’m testing Play-On media machine and it is working Okay.

I’ve had this TV for a full week now and for the most part it’s been great. I used this TV to exchange a 2 year old New samsung LCD 46″ 1080p that we’re moving to the gameroom.

To begin with, the picture is excellent. The like getting High-definition for the first time again. The default settings had been ok but very bright in my opinion. Following dialing the backlight along and configuring the actual motion plus, it looks like I’m watching through a window.

Just the thing for gaming! I’ve expended about 20 hours or so online (Bad Co. 2 & Call of duty Black ops) and also have noticed zero insulate from the TV. Set it to gaming function and tweak the actual black levels and you are clearly good to go. I couldn’t be a little more impressed with the photo or speed.

Now for the bad….
I have Several hardwired Xbox’s and 2 wireless. I also have One hardwired PC and 1 wireless. My spouse and i run 2 google android phones and a system printer all through One router at my house. My network may be stable for years with no problems connecting, streaming, or getting. When I tried to operate the network set up, the tv finds the particular network but can not connect. I run the setup once again and it connects and often will lose connection following about a 10 moment period. It’s been a new nightmare trying to get it to stay connected. I am already considering ditching the wireless and shedding a Cat6 cable only for the tv.

The Applications fall into the bad category as well. For those of you who’re wanting to ditch cable for internet tv, DON’T. The stand is very sturdy and looks excellent.
Others reviewers grumble about the HDMI inputs on the side being an problem but they are really not. It includes a cable show that you can mount on top of the back and run the wires via first, hiding these people in the process. This is not a concern at all.
The distant is great but difficult to use in the darkish. It has a light about it but it only stays on for a 2nd, not long enough to be effective. If you can’t see the distant you’re going to have to Samsung UN46D7000 start a light to read it.

My set didn’t come with 3d glasses so I’m ready to get those currently. Samsung just released they will be shipping Two pair with each collection after May One particular and they are dropping the price of each pair in order to $50.00us on May First for those of us who would not get them included. All in all, The tv can just what I bought the idea for. I have personal computers and 360’s for the internet and so the bad wireless and apps are not a huge issue for me. I’m going to try to hardwire the set and hopefully will get better results with the “Smart” portion of the tv.

I bought this for any basement theater soon after significant research along with side-by-side evaluation in stores. Not long ago i bought a 47″ 240HZ LG Television for my family room and am pleased with the quality of the impression, lack of a glare coming from my windows (the huge negative with the highly reflective New samsung screen) and the fact I don’t see the tv struggling to give myself the clear impression when watching a sporting celebration. I hung the the 55″ LG 55LW5600 in place of my own 47″ to test it out just before putting it in the basement and put on the extender to watch the NCAA Finals. The picture is big, but there is a marked improvement between the ability with this TV to draw the picture and my 47″. Your 55″ noticably messes upward, or pixilates every now and then. It isn’t really a show stopper, or a reason to loathe the TV, but it is noticeable and I can’t support but think the particular 120Hz for the 55″ television will be the problem. I tried the 3d conversion and it does add some great depth. I like it. I plan to test it with some real 3 dimensional content to see if it’s impressive.

I am connected to the Internet and experimented with use the browser to look at an episode of Fort from the ABC internet site. The site told me to update my variation of Flash and that i have no idea how to make this happen since I don’t know your operating system. It would be wonderful if I could use it to watch online episodes without going through among the pay services (Netflix).
